Multiple reports indicate a launch event in South Korea is scheduled for September 29th. However, Samsung is actively debating a potential release in the US and other global markets internally.
The device may feature a 10-inch OLED display when fully unfolded. This immediately transforms it into a tablet-sized productivity powerhouse. Leaked animations hint at advanced multitasking features in One UI, including floating app windows.
They also show a seamless transition between the three-part main screen and the exterior cover screen.

OnePlus provided an early, official preview of its next-generation flagship, the OnePlus 15.
This leaks confirmed core hardware and a major shift in camera strategy. The phone will be powered by the just-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile processo.
In a significant move, OnePlus has confirmed the end of its collaboration with Hasselblad. The OnePlus 15 will instead debut the company’s new DetailMax image engine. This engine will rely on advanced in-house algorithms for “breathtakingly clear and truly real” images.
Furthermore, leaks suggest a new boxier design, a high-end 165Hz refresh rate display, a massive 7,300 mAh battery, and a triple 50MP camera setup.
3. Android 16 QPR1 Rolls Out to Pixels

The stable version of the Android 16 Quarterly Platform Release 1 (QPR1) is now rolling out to eligible Pixel devices.
It brings the highly anticipated Material 3 Expressive redesign and numerous new features. The update includes the Material 3 Expressive design, featuring a vibrant aesthetic and physics-based animations.
It also shows redesigned status bar icons and an overhauled, more compact Quick Settings panel that supports up to 16 tiles. For supported Pixels (Pixel 8 and later), the QPR1 update finally delivers Google’s long-awaited, full Desktop Mode experience. This mode comes complete with a taskbar and freeform app windows on an external display.
Other key quality-of-life changes include reducing the size of the At a Glance widget. This frees up space on the home screen. Furthermore, users get new options for customizing the lockscreen clock with ‘Rounded’ or ‘Sharp’ styles and a width slider, and improved organization with colorful icons in the main Settings app.
