HUAWEI officially launched the HUAWEI Watch D2 in the India bringing its latest medical-grade smartwatch with advanced health monitoring features to general Indian users. The HUAWEI Watch D2 was globalyl launched back in September 2024.
The HUAWEI Watch D2 stands out primarily because it offers 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure (BP) monitoring feature and real-time Electrocardiogram (ECG) detection. Ultimately, these features are crucial for proactive cardiovascular health management.
The Watch D2 prioritizes precision, utilizing a specialized 26.5 mm ultra-narrow mechanical airbag strap to ensure accurate BP readings. Furthermore, its certification as a CE-MDR medical device in Europe and approval from China’s National Product Administration underscores this focus on medical reliability.
Key Health Tracking Features:
- 24-Hour BP Monitoring: The HUAWEI Watch D2 tracks continuous BP (systolic/diastolic averages and pulse rates) throughout the day and night.

Moreover, its durable design has an IP68 rating for water resistance, and the strap is removable via a quick-release button for flexibility.
Regarding power, the HUAWEI Watch D2 offers strong battery performance and can last up to 7 days with typical use. However, even with the rigorous 24-hour ambulatory BP monitoring activated, the battery still provides up to a full day of use and supports wireless charging. Finally, the device is compatible with both Android (8.0+) and iOS (13+) devices via the HUAWEI Health app.
