OxygenOS 16 to Get Google Gemini AI: Features & Rollout

OnePlus India officially said that Google’s Gemini AI will be built into its next operating system, OxygenOS 16. This change brings new, smart AI features to future OnePlus phones. It will completely change how you use your phone.

This built-in AI acts like a complete digital helper. OnePlus posted on social media and called it, “Your planner, assistant, and manager – all in one.”

A main part of this is the AI working with “Mind Space.” This feature is a central place where users keep memories and collections, like notes or photos. Google Gemini can use this saved information. This lets it handle difficult tasks based on your life.

For instance, if you ask Gemini to plan a 5-day trip to Paris, it will look at your saved travel notes and preferences in Mind Space. Then, it creates a personal travel plan just for you.

This partnership shows that OnePlus is very serious about artificial intelligence. They want to make the phone experience feel more personal and smarter based on what you are doing.

These new AI features, including the Mind Space hub, will come to several phones running OxygenOS 16. OnePlus said the update is “coming soon.” The company will share a list of compatible devices and a full schedule in the next few weeks.
