OnePlus has officially expanded its smartphone lineup with the announcement of the Turbo 6Vs, bringing a massive 9,000mAh battery and midrange performance specs to the market. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, the device aims to deliver long battery life alongside modern software right out of the box.
The primary hardware highlight is the 9,000mAh battery, which supports 80W wired charging, 27W reverse charging, and bypass charging. Up front, the phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Software duties are handled by ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, while camera functionality relies on a 50MP main sensor featuring optical image stabilization (OIS).
Durability is another major aspect of the Turbo 6Vs, with the device carrying extensive water and dust protection ratings, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications. The inclusion of bypass charging allows power to bypass the battery during usage, while reverse charging provides power output to secondary accessories and devices when needed.
In terms of cost and availability, OnePlus has launched the Turbo 6Vs in China at a starting price of 3,699 yuan, which converts to approximately $555. The handset is also positioned for an Indian market release, expanding its target availability across key regions.
