Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship, the Xiaomi 18 Pro global variant, has cleared Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification ahead of its official international debut. The appearance on the regulatory database indicates that the device is moving closer to consumer availability.
According to the NBTC listings, the global variant of the Xiaomi 18 Pro is registered under two separate model numbers: 2609BPN61G and 2606BPN61G. The documentation confirms these specific identifiers as part of the official approval process required for telecommunications devices in the region.
The emergence of dual model numbers in regulatory filings often points to potential regional adaptations or cellular connectivity configurations for different global markets. For Android enthusiasts tracking international hardware releases, clearing official certification databases like the NBTC is typically one of the final administrative steps before a product’s launch.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro is scheduled to launch globally in November. Further details concerning exact pricing, regional rollout schedules, and complete technical specifications will likely be announced closer to the official launch event.
