A new leak has surfaced online revealing key hardware specifications for an unannounced smartphone, tentatively identified as the OPPO Reno 17. The leaked image suggests that the upcoming device could ship with a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SUPER chipset alongside significant upgrades to its camera hardware and battery capacity.
According to the leaked details, the device is configured with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Its camera setup includes a 200MP main sensor paired with two additional 50MP rear cameras, while the front of the device houses a 50MP selfie camera. Keeping the phone powered is a 6,700mAh Glacier Battery.
However, the leak comes with a notable discrepancy regarding the device’s identity. The image displays the model number PMM110, which reportedly belongs to the OPPO Reno 16 5G rather than a new Reno 17 model. This creates some ambiguity around whether the leaked information pertains to a Reno 16 variant or an early build of the Reno 17.
OPPO is expected to launch the Reno 17 moving forward, though the manufacturer has not officially verified the leaked specs, pricing, or regional availability. Further details are anticipated as official launch announcements approach.
