Motorola’s upcoming foldable smartphone, the Razr Flex 27, has officially appeared in regulatory filings after receiving approval from the UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). Listed under model number XT2761-1, the certification signals that the device is advancing toward its official debut.
According to reported specifications, the device will feature a 6.92-inch OLED inner display with a 165Hz refresh rate alongside a 4.97-inch OLED cover screen. The foldable is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Out of the box, it is set to run Motorola’s Hello UI, which is based on Android 17.
The combination of a large 4.97-inch cover display and a high-refresh-rate primary screen provides a capable setup for navigating apps whether folded or open. Paired with 12GB of RAM and the Android 17-based Hello UI, the device aims to deliver modern software performance suited for foldable form factors.
Although Motorola has yet to confirm an official release date or pricing details, reports suggest that the Razr Flex 27 will launch in select global markets. The TDRA clearance indicates that regional regulatory approvals are already underway ahead of the expected rollout.
