HMD has officially launched the Nokia 2360 Flip, bringing a retro clamshell form factor equipped with dual screens and an integrated SOS button, though the device arrives with a major connectivity catch. Despite offering classic flip-phone functionality, the handset relies entirely on legacy network infrastructure rather than modern cellular standards.
The Nokia 2360 Flip features a twin-display setup, pairing a 2.8-inch main inner screen with a 1.77-inch outer screen designed for quick status updates. Powering the phone is a 1,450 mAh replaceable battery, which provides up to 15 days of standby time and 27 hours of talk time. The device also includes an SOS button for quick emergency assistance.
The critical drawback for users is that the Nokia 2360 Flip completely lacks 4G and VoLTE capabilities. With connectivity restricted entirely to 2G networks, voice calling and text operations will only function in regions where 2G coverage is still active, creating significant operational limits in areas where legacy infrastructure has been decommissioned.
As HMD rolls out the device, the handset stands as a basic option centered around battery longevity and simple dual-screen access. However, potential buyers must verify local 2G availability, as the missing 4G and VoLTE support restricts its overall usability compared to modern feature phones.
